The newest official figures show that more than 24 million foreign travelers visited Turkey within the period of January to July, a strong 14.10% rise from the same point as last year. The nation has appeared as a popular destination for Indian travellers across categories.
From leisure travel to the Indian wedding ceremony and MICE summits, there has been a substantial increase in all sectors. The travel board further revealed that by the end of 2019, Turkey is likely to host around 30 Indian marriages and 30, 000 MICE visitors. It is also expecting to make a record number of Indian tourist entrances in Turkey by the end of this year.
