Switzerland has presented its full support for India in the present challenging times when both Europe and India is revolving under the effect of Coronavirus. Gerry Hofstetter, Swiss light artist, is the man behind striking up the 4478-metre-high mountain peak situated between Switzerland and Italy by showing the national flag of several other nations at night. The projections have been lighting up the mountain every single day since March 2020.
The tourism organisation Zermatt Matterhorn shared its concern for India’s fight against COVID-19 by penning an empathetic message.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted the picture of Indian tricolour with an inspiring caption.

In the meantime, as per the statistics collected by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has lost 519 lives as on April 19 evening and more than 16000 cases of infection have been stated in the country. On the other hand, about 35000 persons have deceased in the US alone. In India, the lockdown has been stretched till May 3 as a measure to stop more infections and flatten the growth curve of COVID-19 infections.
