IRCTC introduces a fascinating Russian tour package

If you ever wanted to visit Russia, here is your chance! An IRCTC Russia trip will take you all the way from Chennai to Moscow. The journey will take you through the cities of Moscow and St Petersburg, allowing you to discover two old cities full of history. Here is a sight of what to expect in Chennai to Moscow Russia trip by IRCTC. The expedition is planned for September 14, 2019.

The expedition starts from Chennai on September 14, 2019, as you will get to start out from Chennai and reach at Moscow around 01:20 pm. Then, you will be taken to a guesthouse and will be served packed lunch on your way. In the evening, you will be going to watch Russian Circus, and later have a meal at the hotel.

On the second day, you will be served breakfast at the hotel, and then go on a panoramic city outing of Lenin’s tomb, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Red Square, Sparrow Hills, Moscow State University, & Victory Park. You will be given packed lunch and taken to the railway station for your trip to St. Petersburg. Check-in upon arrival and have a meal at an Indian restaurant.

On the third day, at St. Petersburg, you will visit the well-known sites in the city, specifically, the State Hermitage Museum, Admiralty, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Fine Arts Square, Church of the Resurrection on Spilled Blood, Smolny Cathedral, and then have dinner at an Indian restaurant. You will spend the evening at the hotel in St. Petersburg.

The fourth day starts with breakfast at the hotel, and then a visit to the Petroff Palace, and later lunch at an Indian restaurant. The sundown is free; later, you will be served the meal at an Indian restaurant.

On the fourth day, you will travel back to Moscow after mealtime, and have a meal at an Indian restaurant, and visit Arbat Street. In the evening, you will have a gala dinner at an Indian restaurant, with a dance show.

On the sixth and last day, you will be taken to the airport after mealtime and take a flight back to Chennai.

Prices for the tour

  1. For single occupancy, you would have to pay INR 11,450
  2. For double occupancy, you would have to pay INR 1,10,000 per person
  3. For triple occupancy, you would have to pay 10,6000 per person
  4. For children between 5-11 years, the rate is INR 83,700 (with a bed) and INR 79,400 (without a bed)
